The home has 40 rooms in total including 39 en-suite single rooms, 1 en-suite double room and a penthouse double room. All rooms have nurse call alarms.
There are three comfortably furnished lounges in the home and 2 dining rooms. Bathrooms and toilet facilities are situated throughout the home in convenient and accessible areas.
The home has 3 regularly maintained passenger lifts allowing residents to access all areas.
A Qualified Chiropodist visits the home every 6 weeks to ensure (residents may opt out) that residents have their feet properly taken care of. This is not a service included in the room price but is charged to the residents at a very reasonable rate. (£20 as of April 2024). Each resident has a foot care file kept on their behalf.
A dedicated private hairdresser visits the home twice a week offering a wide range of hair dressing services. The home has a separate hairdressing salon with the full range of hairdressing facilities.
Watford House has a fast fibre wireless public internet system throughout the care home available for use by the residents and families. The residents have access to Apple tablets to enable facetime calls and keep in touch with their family.
The staff are on hand to help residents with the internet should they wish to use it.

Butchery is supplied on a weekly basis directly from Bradshaws Farm Shop and Cafe.
Fresh fruit and veg is supplied weekly from local farm shops.
All other food supplies are delivered weekly from Brakes food supplies and we have deliveries throughout the week from Sainsbury’s
